The Ensemble „Linzer
Guitar Quartet“ was founded in 2007 by four young guitarists
from Upper Austria (Christina Lechner, Karin Gstöttenmayr, Tanja
Fleischanderl, Sylvia Haderer), graduates of the Anton Bruckner
Private University.
Their solo education and experience in chamber musik enables these
musicians to present guitar music on high grade.
These four different characters meeting connect their qualifications
to a musical unit of highest level.
The quartet music is of captivating aesthetic sound and outstanding
tone.
Intensive works on singing and breathing technique enables new musical approaches.
The repertory of the „Linzer Guitar Quartet“ consists of original versions for this ensemble as well as contemporary literature on one hand, on the other hand of original arrangements of popular music.
Their main music inspiraton the quartett gets from Marianne
und Josef Waidhofer.
Master courses at L.A.G.Q., Zoran Dukic, Carlo Marchione and others
give valuable impulses for further developments of this ensemble.
