Karin Gstöttenmayr received her first education
on the guitar at the Music School Perg at Josef Waidhofer. After her Matura
she started studies (instrumental education for guitar) at the Anton
Bruckner Private University at Prof. Marianne Waidhofer.
1997 she passed her degree in education with distinction, in 2006 she
finished her studies with a concert diploma.
Her intensive work on different styles of music and chamber music is pointed
out by participation at numerous master courses and workshops at famous international
artists.
She is multiple award-winner at „Prima la musica“ and
still continues her education not only on guitar, but also in Solfeggio,
solo and choir singing (“die lautmaler“).
